Not Feeling It

After a delightful dinner, I saw that it was about the time to do my drawing stream. I had zero desire to stream or draw and had the “Why are you even doing this?” voice at a very loud volume. It’s hard to counter the “Why” when there is no real reason other than this Not Feeling It

This time last year I was on my third #100dayproject and I’ve missed the challenge it gave me. Finding a thing to do 100 times without getting bored or demotivated forces you to reach corners of your brain you’d never think you’d go. It also creates new pathways to these areas to get there faster. V I D E O

Sausages Over Time

I drew the first sausage in 2004 in MS Paint. It’s marvelous. The second drawing was from when I gave a wacom tablet a chance. It was fine, but I really need to see what I’m drawing. It also didn’t really inspire me to work digitally. The last one I drew in Procreate this year. Sausages Over Time

A Desert Scene?

I let myself get a little lost with some cans. I like it but this was a fun practice. There are a few things I like about this. I really like the shapes of the saguaros. The weird arch thing is nice and what was gonna be a golden barrel has something I like about A Desert Scene?

Bandit

The weather was nice and I had this small section of wall that needed to be painted. There were a few colors in my crate but enough to do a basic character. After a moment, this bandit showed up and now makes a nice addition to the yard. I’m still trying to find the right Bandit

Screaming

Recently I was going through the videos that Procreate generates behind the scenes and I liked what this one showed. There is some technique in there and a lot of freestyle. It’s a nice little glimpse into what can happen before a finished sketch.

Perdido

Yesterday, was one of those days where I didn’t need any convincing or prodding to move. I’ve been drawing a skull often with a yellow hat that I like so much I made into stickers. I’ve also been drawing lines like I used to when I was in school. I wanted to combine the two Perdido
