I woke up early today, bought some doughnuts, and thought about how I miss spending my mornings outside. Summer is miserable and our heat island isn’t helping. Autumn can’t come soon enough.
Went to Grand Falls with @thewoahest. It appears we missed the high flow from the rain we’ve been having, but we had fun either way. Also saw some yellow caterpillars.
I noticed this pomegranate flower today and also noticed the pomegranates the birds have started to enjoy. I did see some pomegranates that I hope they leave for me.
I woke up too early and now I’m ready to go back to sleep.
This is a bee assassin bug. I tried to explain that killing bees is not cool based on declining numbers of native bees, but it didn’t care.
