Easily my #2 favorite spider. Little tiny homies keeping the tiny flies in check. Unfortunately, not friendly which means you can’t really handle them. Jumping spiders though, I love when I find them.
Abert’s Towhee
I often see a pair of Abert’s Towhees running along the top of the block walls that surround my yard. Sometime I find them thrashing through the mulch looking for snacks.

February 22, 2026 was the start of this year’s 100 day project. Previous projects have been around ink and marker, pastels, and block prints. I am returning to my favorite medium, block printing.
