The marigolds are beaming today.

Hambone is over the sad state of American politics and being stuck indoors.

On some mornings, I will notice doves congregating on my neighbors power line. I think they make great painting subjects.

I don’t feel like doing any work today. I have some drawings I want to work on but they sort of feel off. Some I think I need to restart.

It’s my birthday so here is a self portrait I did this morning while listening to a podcast about the ethics of algorithms and automation.

I’ve avoided painting with colors and I think this painting has made me feel less intimidated about it. I’m happy with how this came out.

Let the brain do it’s thing.
